		<description>That has to rate as one of the saddest stories ever. 

Having to park 2 miles from the ship to be onboard a 0330 for light off watch before getting underway at 8 am was SOP.

As a snipe we would put in 12 hours of watch at either end of a 12 hour day.  At sea it was 5 on 7 off 7 on 5 off.  And the time would slowly pass


One of our greatest successes was stealing the 
Flag off the Admirals car - and the Ships Plaque off quarter deck the USS Sterett back in the day.  Now that was skill and cunning at work</description>
