I had the privilege of meeting MSG Benavidez when I was a young cadet, shortly after he had received the long-overdue award of the Medal of Honor. A very impressive man. Also nice to hear that the shipyards in New Orleans are building warships like this again. Visitors to New Orleans should be sure to visit the WW2 museum there. Excellent news.
